I was worried that I may not be able to do 90 seconds 6 times. However, I am glad to say that I managed!

I feel that the 5K continuous run is now possible :-)

Yes it is very possible but I didn't believe that in week 1 ;) Well done for getting out there you have done the hardest part ! Happy running. :)

Well done ! You'll improve every week, even if you repeat weeks. I never thought I could run 5k, but now I can.

:-) And I've just checked. You mean Week 2, right? Step 1 of the process is behind you, and now it's onward and upward. It's quite a jump going to 90 seconds, so your taking it in your stride bodes well, I think. And wow, that's confidence, already believing the 5km will follow. Of course it will, but usually it's quite hard to believe early on in the programme.

It must have been the elation of doing Week 2 Run 1!

Yes, I should have said - W2R1 done :-)

Well spotted.

I am just going to concentrate on my next run from now on.

That is a great achievement and now you have built confidence for even bigger things. This is how the programme works, tricks you into believing you have done it so you can do a bit more too! Now it is 90 seconds, then increases to 3 mins, 5, 8, 10, 20, 25 and 30! It really is a great programme, I can now run for 30 minutes which is unbelievable because on my 90 second week, that seemed too long. Well done and keep going 😀 Julie

I didn't believe I would be able to do 90 seconds...but I did!

It felt like the first time as a kid when I was able to ride a bike! And soon after I was cycling to everywhere and discovering all kind of places :-)

Yes Ash, its that same feeling, as learning to ride a bicycle at about age 7 or 8, a sense of achievement, feels so good! nice to feel that again...

Well done ash! And it's definitely possible. Just stick with the program and take it nice and steady :)

Yes it is! Well done on the run and the positive attitude - it will carry you through the weeks. One thing this programme has taught me (in addition to running ) is that even if we are not spring chickens anymore (referring to myself, not you) we are still capable of so much more than we may have imagined.

Ash, well done! That's the way, just take it steady and keep it there. Make sure you have your rest days from this.

Me too Week 2 run 1. easier than I thought maybe partly due to the fact that I have invested in proper running shoes
