Did 11 miles on Thursday in 2hrs 30 I'm not speedy at all but am hoping to achieve 2 hrs 45 for half marathon in 2 weeks. Not doing any more long runs just core and twenty - thirty min runs I felt awesome on Thursday but today feel so tearful ( I'm a girl so it's allowed lol) I had to remind myself how far I have come since March when I started C25K. Just needed to touch base with people as I think I'm prob not alone with these feelings x

Feeling Emotional
Fantastic! You've come so far in such a short space of time! Did you follow another plan to help you to run such long distances?
Well done.
Well done your right on track. I am an emotional nightmare going into tapering. My only advice is have the confidence you have done all the hard work and you will be fine. Look forward to enjoying event day. Happy tapering (Don't let it get to you).
Oh very very well done Dawn, you've made fantastic progress in such a short time. No wonder you were feeling a bit emotional - apart from the grit and determination needed to get you to where you are now, you may be a little bit energy depleted after your 11miler. Time for a refuel with a nice big plate of spaghetti perhaps?
Think you're very wise to leave off the longer runs now before the big day. Very best of luck. I'll really look forward to reading your race report. Go Dawn!!
Blimey. You only started running in March and you just did 11 miles ?????? Awesome!!!! Adrenaline will get you through those last few miles
You are doing amazingly well. Good luck and be sure to share the details of your special day
Great stuff Dawn.
Even with a truncated training program, you should now have the confidence that the HM distance is doable. Enjoy the tapering and all the best for race day.
Thanks Dunder I really can't wait xx
Oh Dawn, come here Missus and let me give you a massive hug ((( )))
You are doing brilliantly, you are amazing !!!
Look at how far you have come, you are a true inspiration, and yes I would say it is perfectly normal to feel like this. You are approaching unchartered territory , its all new and you dont know what to expect , so yes, perfectly understandable .
You have put the training in Dawn, I am sure on the day you will be raring to go !
Good Luck with the rest of your preparation, keep us posted ! xxx
