Only 1 more week of being able to go gym, and running for atleast 6 weeks as I will be having a foot operation to sort my bunion. It will help loads with balance and pain etc but I'm so sad I have to stop! Just got to remember it's going to help! I knew this when I started, but love it way more than I thought I would! 6 weeks of not being able to fully weight bare! No idea where I'd even start again after that! Carry on to week 8 or do week 7 again? I'm like dont cancel the OP!! But that's all I want to do Haha never thought I'd love exercise as much as this! 🥰😭

The op will make all the difference in the long run. Take time out, follow and support all the runners on here then start off slowly again, your foot, that thing that pounds the street, will just have had surgery, be kind to it😉 speedy recovery x
Thank you! It definitely will, as I can feel the difference between the two feet, one that's been done over 10 year ago is my main support and one that needs doing my balance on that side is terrible. Once I'm all pain free and running again, all this will be a distant memory and I'll be so glad I did it! But it's just getting there first! 3 more runs in beforehand 😊 xx
Like Granny said, the bigger picture is that the op will do you good even if it means holding off on the running for a little while. Think how much better it’ll be when you come back... nothing to hold you back then 💪🏼
Looking forward to having 6 weeks off work though! Will be so glad when it's all done! Keep looking at park runs and 5ks but I cant book anything till I know I'm all good. Xx
Good luck with your operation. Then a few weeks or so of no running , then once you are fit and well you can get back to it . Good luck 😊😊🤞🤞
Make sure you take the full time to heal. Check out Caroline Jordan on YouTube for her hurt foot fitness workouts. They really keep your spirits up until you can do more!
You'll be all the better for it in the end! 👍🏻💪🏻😁
I hope the op goes smoothly and that you recover quickly. You'll be back better and stronger.
