after failing to come up with an excuse not to go I set of for my local parkrun this morning.i was very nervous and it was very hot. I was amazed to finish and even more amazed that I wasn't last I managed to come 143 rd out of 154 so I was pleased and very pleased with my time of 38:58 especially as I've only just completed week 3 .

Well done - that's a great time for someone only part way through C25K - you've obviously got a bright future!

I have to confess I didn't run the whole thing I did walk a bit but tried to keep a reasonable pace during my walk breaks although didn't need as many as I was expecting thanks for all the kind comments one day I will be able to run the whole thing but slow and steady for now

Exactly what I will be doing once I complete this programme. Doing 5 K running as much as I can and increase time running, then can work on my time, good plan I figure. When I can do 5 k in 45-50 mins, Parkrun.

Walking is still moving so well done great run too! I am not sure what 5K looks like

I had only done 3.5 k while doing the programme so wasn't sure I would make it round at all but it's amazing what you can achieve with a little encouragement I was thinking if I could do it in 50 mins I would be happy and have something to chip away at so was really happy with my time I will be running park run as my third day of the programme from now I think

Well done for giving it a go. Once again the hardest part is getting started. You did well, too, even if what really mattered most this time was just to do it.
