So sorry for the delay putting this up. I have been so busy at work that it completely left my mind until now. Please feel free to post about your quest if you wish and add a longest run if you want. I know we are getting very close to completing our first virtual run.

Quite a sad post for me for the first time in 2 1/2 years I have no long run to put up as I haven't run for over 6weeks. I know I am Still doing stuff keeping fit and all that but I find it sad I haven a long run to post. The longest I have gone without running before was 8 days, I really cant wait to be given the go ahead. Happy running to you all.

Aww RfC it's tough I know. I had 3 to 4 months without running last year and it's horrible. I hope you get the go ahead soon x

My longest run in this quest has been 10 k - the knee has gone a bit awkward so had to take a few more rest days.

Did 7 k today, my last run before going away , I won't be allowed to run next week :)

My longest run was just short of 6k - a new step up for me this week, as I have previously not exceeded 5k. I also had a new longest swim of 70 lengths this week. Not sure which was harder!

Hi,

Longest run was 6.5k.

Took it easy last two weeks due to hot weather, but getting back to normal.

My longest run was 10K. For this quest I wanted to work on my cadence which I did and am pleased with the results. I also had a race which has been done but I don't have any more in the diary and am feeling glum! Next quest I'm working on speed, cadence again and hills.

Have a great running weekend fellow questers and to those on the IC, have a pain free weekend.

Joined a bit late so haven't managed regular 8ks so will be continuing to aim for that, but longest run is 10k last week. I've signed up for an August Virtual 10k and wanted to make sure I got one in!

My longest run was 6.3K.

Due to a combination of a cold ,sinusitis and the weather I haven't run for 10 days ....definitely room for improvement on the next quest.

Hope you get some good news on the running front very soon Rfc .

My longest run was 4k. It was quite a happy surprise to look back and see that I'd done that as I think this has probably been my least successful Quest to date. I am congratulating myself that I have been running and I have been swimming but that's about the most I can say. I've even missed the odd day of morning yoga.

Number 1 son's AS results did not cover him with glory nor live up to predictions but do not change any of the plans he had the day before he got them. Through his work experience, I got out for a run a few times really nice and early which I used to do and should do more often.

And Number 2 son's appeal to the SEN tribunal was sent off. Unless we get an expedited date he's going to be out of formal education for the whole of next term. I'd really love him to do C25K in that time as well as going swimming more often.

And I'd really love to find a way to help my father, 82 in treatment for prostate cancer look at developing his fitness experience as he thinks that if he doesn't go to aquafit at 7.30am every week and giving it his all that would be 'giving up'

I survived. I treated myself to some great new sports bras (that look good under normal clothes which is important for a stealth runner) I also treated myself to some new firm control big knickers in a size 14 but that was more disappointing. I bought the first ones in a size 16 during C25K and I've lost a lot of weight since then and the 14s are ever so slightly too snug.

RFC, you're a reminder that every run is a privilege.

My longest run was 6.4K. Missed a fair few runs this quest with life being busy, busy with one thing and another but still, thankfully, able toget out as much as possible.

Thanks RFC and hope you can get out running again soon. :)
