My longest is 10km

I feel like I have spent the last six weeks fighting of a bug that is just bubbling under, I'm really hoping that goes away soon, I haven't done any sort of pushing exercise wise because of it. I'm yearning for a good old speed session that pushes me to my limit.

My longest run was 5.04km. Running has featured a lot more in this Quest than I expected and I am jolly pleased about that.

I cannot say my objective of supporting my husband is fulfilled in any obvious or substantial way. The last few weeks I have tried not even asking "Are you swimming today?" on the set days he'd previously declared, just to see if he brings it up himself, but he hasn't. However, some interesting stuff has come out of my own efforts, capitalising on opportunities. I love walking and running in new places!

And my other main objective of losing weight took a long time to get going but finally started moving a teeny tiny bit in the right direction rather than the wrong - recording intake, limiting calories and being a little more active. My fatigue levels have been a big problem - I want to run it off but it doesn't work like that for me :-( But restorative yoga does help.

My longest was 13 KM. I'm still languishing a bit, my manky disc is playing up again, I'm seeing a new osteopath tomorrow, so fingers crossed. My sore achilles is still sore, not really badly or anything, but I'm taking it easy until it feels better. I shall be home in Cordes to welcome you all on 2nd April, how far away are we now RFC?

EDIT, just back from the osteo, feeling almost like new! She says my achilles problems might be caused by my back problems, I'll find out tomorrow when I try a run. xx

7k! For the next quest I already know one goal: push past this distance!

My longest was 6k, still not really breaking through on distance, but I have made a bit of progress on pace with 2 parkrun PBs during the quest. Thanks RFC for organising this. Hopefully the next quest will bring warmer and less windy spring weather with it!

It's been a great quest for me because although I'm not running I've won a couple of little accolades at the gym which has given me a huge boost and kept me motivated.

I've been on the IC for 7 weeks now (sob sob) but I am working hard in the gym and have done about 220 kms on the bike in the last 6 weeks so that's got to be doing something good to my running legs!

I'll have gymed it three times this week as I'll go tomorrow and done exercises at home every day and am feeling very fit and strong. As the weather is getting nicer I am really missing my running but hopefully I have only 4 weeks to go! I hope with all this sweat and effort now I can get running again fairly smoothly!

Thanks for organising RFC and have a fab weekend all questers.

7.16 for me, please. Not quite as far as I'd hoped but I think I only missed one week and most weeks managed two runs rather than the one I set as a target for this quest. I managed some running tourism in lovely Utrecht, and completed a race, earning the best bling yet! I have entered a 10k in May at Chatsworth, for which I will have to train like billy-oh because it will be hilly and more of a trail than I'm used to. Sadly, the weight loss did not go according to plan - I lost 4lbs but have stupidly put 3 of them back on again.

Thank you for organising us again, Rfc, and here's to seeing Curlygurly and the next Quest :)

5.1 for me. Has 5 days on the couch with

a cold and aches and pains. But went out today for the c25k + speed run to ease back into it. Went well. :)

I'm happy to say, it's 5k for me. Still not running regularly enough, but I'm working on it. Thanks, as ever, for organising the quest RFC. x

Last week did 8.5 miles which I'm delighted with as suddenly realised I was sort of coasting and wasn't really on track for 10 mile race in few weeks.

My goals were to increase distance and feel better...

Distance not really improved, only about 6 K... and although feeling much better...still have pesky cough!

But...am back out there and running. Onwards and upwards:)
