Well done - both on the running and on the weight loss!

The great thing about combining the two is that you'll feel so much better - running will be easier as you lose weight and the sustained exercise will help burn some calories.

Running in itself doesn't always shift weight, but it does help convert that weight from fat into other forms like glycogen, muscle and bone density - all the things you want rather than fat! It's also a great way to increase the benefit of a healthy diet. The best thing is that you'll feel so much fitter in everyday life too.

Keep it up!

Congratulations - a stone and a half in four weeks is impressive!

Well done! Keep plugging away NICE AND GENTLY! Easy does it, slow is good. Just keep progressing steadily and you'll finish the job safely and in one piece. The weight comes off no matter how slow you run. I found this out for myself when running with my Garmin. I did a really fast 5 k in the morning but lost far more calories doing a longer, slower jog in the evening.

Make sure you keep up with the healthy eating lark. Don't waste your calories on anything but good stuff. You'll be building a healthy body that way and improve the way you feel no end.

Once you get into the regular routine and running and eating clean then it becomes second nature and you won't want to go back to how you were before.

Good luck and have fun with your runs x

I just finished week5 day 2 a couple hours ago. It was truly awesome! I had to repeat it because last week i had to walk. Today did it with no walking and at about a 2:35 per lap pace it was much easier adding that 5 secs to my laps. You got it in the bag! Keep it up!
