So run 3 was much easier than run 2 and I am so chuffed!! I'd go so far as to say that I really enjoyed it, even the 5 minute runs! What a beautiful morning, I really noticed the sunshine, trees, flowers and birds this time and wasn't so stressy about everything. A bit scared of week 5 but also a little part of me can't wait. Well, run 1 doesn't look too bad and I have decided not to look at the later runs yet!πππ Good luck to everyone also doing W4, enjoy it!!
Finished week 4!!: So run 3 was much easier than... - Couch to 5K
Finished week 4!!
Well done Sandirm! On days like this I feel v grateful for starting this program. Nothing better than being out for a walk/run when it's cool but the sun is shining. Good luck with Week 5 - you're well on your way to 5K
Very well done! Just keep plugging away, very slowly and gently, and you'll finish without incident. Nice and slow. Zen almost. It has the advantage of your being able to take in the scenery and what's occurring around you and to be able to enjoy it
Don't be nervous. It's a wonderful programme and should be enjoyed. Going slowly takes the pressure off and allows you to relax a bit. Your running will be so much easier if you can breathe because you're not exhausted and out of puff
Have fun!
Half the battle is won (or more to be honest) when you reach the point where you can start to enjoy the scenery around you, rather than just wait for it all to be over. So well done you, you've unlocked the secret, and now there's no holding you back
I'm sure you'll love week 5. As others say, just take it nice and gently. Happy running!
