Week 3

well I'm just about to embark upon week 3 tomorrow.. didn't think I'd get this far! Nervous about running 3 minutes though as I just about managed 90 seconds. Been reading posts and the advise seems to be taking it SLOW and have a better chance of completing the 3 minutes. I'm determined to do it and have no intentions of giving up... I'm enjoying it too much anyway :) any further tips would be much appreciated though :)

Yup, just take it slow and you'll be fine CG.

Avoid hills if you can would be the only other advice.

Thanks Dunder, yes I make sure my route is flat.. an incline is a bit of a daunting thought at the moment...

I agree with Dunder, just take it really slow. The enjoyment will be there week after week too! Don't be nervous you will be fine x :-)

Take it slow I found that has helped me immensely especially with the breathing side of things! Yes avoid hills! I've also found listening to music a great distraction too and not looking at the app! Hide it away and just listen to Laura in between music and the time goes quicker as ur not watching the clock!

That's for sharing this Capitalgirl, I read it this morning just before me & my husband did w3r1 and it really inspired us reading the comments! We did it and were pleasantly surprised! Feeling great, enjoy it! It's really nice only doing 4 runs and it goes really quickly :-)

I am starting week three as well, I want to know how walking three mins goes quick and running three mins takes ages lol.. I do it in a treadmill due to someone taking the piss when out and about will get fitter then go back on the streets. Good luck with week three, meet you at week four if I am still alive 🙊

sorry to hear you had to listen to some idiot taking the piss.. bet they can't run the length of themselves! I think though that is a rare thing as in general people don't take any notice of me huffing and puffing along the road. They're too busy with their own thoughts/companion/music/phone/dog they're walking to notice!
