Week 1 - Done

An amazing week, thank you. As I have written in many replies this week within the community, I have been struggling with getting ft for 15 years or so. Done all sorts os stuff, but this community is great. Plenty to read, lots of people joining all the time, so plenty of people at my level. A mix of happy stores, sad sorties and the odd horror story. Park Run (shuffle) tomorrow down at Black Park and then start Week 2 Sunday/Monday.

Well done 'chump'. In many ways you have already done the hardest part.

Well done Chalfont! I'm nearby in Amersham. The community on here are so positive, encouraging and inspiring. You're ahead of me on the parkrun front, enjoy black park.

Well done. Getting started is always the hardest part. You're lapping the people still on the couch.

Congratulations on getting started. I spent a long time wanting and trying to run without ever really getting anywhere. Then nearly 3 yrs ago I found C25k and this forum and it all fell into place (literally on several occasions :-) ).

This really is astonishing, one simple post 7 replies from total strangers wishing me well. In fact if I wasn't such a big tough 6'4" bloke I'd admit to being just a tad emotional.

Interesting youth - so you can do it. We're mostly like you, similar age, none of us able to run for a minute when we start. Good luck. Keep going with a 'buddy' on this forum - you won't want to be the first to quit. And keep posting - this forum keeps us all going.
