Week 1 done - bring on week 2!

Hi all! This is my first post although I have been lurking here for about a week now. I've dealt with moderate asthma for many years however only recently diagnosed. Having finally gotten it under good control, I am happy to say that I finished Week 1 Run 3 yesterday evening! I am feeling really good and having had an attack during any of the runs - which for me is amazing. I've been following everyone's advice so drinking plenty of water, having rest days & fueling my body with the right foods. Looking forward to starting Week 2 on Friday... wish me luck :)

Welcome to the forum and well done

on getting started.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.

Enjoy your journey.

Thanks Iannoda! I’ve actually read that twice already lol, I’m a research-oriented person so wanted to make sure I was doing everything possible to maximise my journey.
