Definitely keep running and keep listening to Laura! It's mostly about the time spent running (and recovering) in the early weeks, you can build on speed and distance over time. Lots of graduates, myself included are pretty slow, but we're out there, running!
Good luck and enjoy
I agree with previous post. Slow & steady. I'm still not fast & I dont think I ever will be but I'm still running.
Keep at it. ☺
Just keep going. I remember thinking the same at this stage (and beyond). You are slowly building up stamina and strength so don't worry about speed at the moment. Slow and steady wins the day
No doubt about it you definitely keep going. You will soon be amazed at your progress. Trust in Laura.
speed shouldnt even be a factor in your mind at the moment. You are getting the running motion, and the stamina now, and if you want to, then you can worry about speed when you graduate. It reallly doesnt matter if you walk faster than you run, its time on legs now
I run really really slowly! Don't think speed matters at all, as long as you can complete each run.
Don't worry! There were a few runs during the program when I actually had to check I was running I was so slow - but it worked! And it will for you, too. You have every post grad run you like for working on speed or distance (or just pure enjoyment of the moment) - for now you're concentrating on building the time you spend running. Trust the program - it works! And well done
Everyone covered it....run so slow you think your mates might laugh at you it's the way to go for sure!
Keep going I was exactly the same at your stage It gets better as you learn to run lightly I used to feel like a cart horse! gradually you will master it ,just listen to Laura and don't try to speed up yet best wishes Ezra 567 (just graduated)
