How to cure a bad back...

Day 1 - make an appointment with a chiropractor

Day 2 - get up and back is fine all day!

Sod's law eh!

Am still going to go see him as I'm sure the bad back will return - probably as soon as I cancel the appointment!

But on a positive I did wk 5, day 2 again today. I've decided not to progress to day 3 (again) until I've seen the chiropractor. It seems (in my mind anyway) to be more sensible to run for five or so minutes then walk, than run for a longer time and risk jarring my back. May be completely wrong but that's where I'm going with it. When I run on Wednesday im going to try to do a full 5k with 5-8 minute runs and 2-3 minute walks inbetween.

Oh isn't that always the way- You make and appointment and then your problem resolves! Hope you get sorted out soon :)

Hope your back gets better soon, I have suffered for years but running really seems to have helped! Maybe it's the strengthening of core muscles I don't know but I like the lack of pain!! I visit an osteopath every couple of months for an MOT and service and it seems to work too. Good luck!
