What should I do with 3 minutes??

Confucious says "What does man do with1/100th of a second saved in 100 metre race?

I went to a distant Parkrun today - one that I went to 12 months ago when I was doing C25K. I ran the 5K then in 35 minutes - today I did it in 32 minutes. I put in quite an effort too !😃 Can't help wondering whether the extra effort is worth it or maybe just take it at an easier pace?? I guess it all boils down to why we run!!😀

First up, well done. That sounds great to me.

To answer your question, if I had just knocked 3 minutes off my 5k time having put in some serious effort, I would be punching the air in ecstasy and I'd be right on here going mad about it!

3 minutes = 10% reduction that's awesome I'd settle for that and perhaps set yourself another target !, well done you.

Well done, i don't think I will ever get any faster.

I am often amused by what this site picks up as flagged words in the text. Your post has put 'boil'. hope you didn't have any. :-)

Hmm , lemme think. Rubs chin. 3 minutes would just about give you time to change the loo roll, brew up, dry some pots perhaps, half empty the dishwasher. Pour yourself a long drink sounds favourite
