Completed week 9

I finally completed week 9 two weeks ago and I felt so proud! But the last two run I was not able to complete only run for 20 minutes. I suffer from hypertension and I had a final increase to ramipril 10 mg . Could this be the cause of me getting very short of breath and not being able to complete my run. Can anybody help?

Tell your doctor. There are some comments about exercise and dehydration on this webpage. I'm not sure they apply to you, but it's possible, especially if you have recently increased the dosage.

I think it quite likely that the increase in medication may take some getting used to. I had a similar experience about a year ago when my blood pressure medicine had to be changed and it took me a while to get back up to speed.

I don't give it a thought now though, so it will only be temporary.

I think that it is quite common for people to start to run too fast after completing the final week 9 of C25K. Perhaps you increased your pace over and above that which you ran during week 9??
