After a run of 1 mile where I cried, retched, and walked home feeling defeated earlier this week, I just needed a little show off about my split times this eve. Sorry. Finished blowing own trumpet now.

Blow that trumpet. In fact let's have a full symphony for Brass!

Would kill for minutes per mile that good..........enjoy the trumpet blowing, it's great when you have a good run :)

I might manage one at that pace.......but five is just showing off. You fit my theory that good runs (and PBs) follow a period of little exertion.

Smug and pink.

Wow!! You can't see me but I'm bowing down in homage (well as much as I can without falling over my crutches). Great splits Tea_Fairy, very impressive :)

Cheers all. Did try to show off to my husband but he cycles and swims instead so it doesn't mean much to him.

That's super fast, well done you. Always so good to come back full throttle after a bad one!!

Thanks JJ. How's your marathon training going? I am (shh!) going to start in May, ready for a 21 miler off-road with hills in September that I have a nervously seduced eye on :)

It's going ok I think!!! Hey that sounds exciting..a 21 mile trail run sounds perfect to train for, and plenty of time too!!
