Feeling Smug

I realised that my week9 run3 was going to be during a brief holiday so I planned a route finishing at Tarbatness Lighthouse. A beautiful spot which holds many happy childhood memories. Ran through to the full 5k in 32’54” so very pleased with the result. My 62 year old joints are noticing the action but nothing too serious.

Thanks for all the support from the members and admin on this site, it has helped a lot. It’s been said many times on here but my advice to anyone setting off, run slowly and take the rest/recovery days

Back to Fife, sand dunes and beaches. 10km takes me to Elie where our Chief Medical Officer, Catherine Calderwood, sadly met her downfall early in lockdown. Luckily the restrictions have lifted a little so I’ll make the most of it while I can. 😀
