Week 6 run 2

Slowly slowly catchy monkey. I took it easy today with this run, I'm injury free currently and plan on staying that way till the end of the program. It's tempting to go faster, but it's false economy if you end up on the sick couch for two months (speaking from experience!). So I'm pleased the two ten minute runs felt easy today. Must be the spangly new shoes. Bring on the long run next. Im sure I can do this.

Absolutely! Resist the urge. You have to curb your enthusiasm. keep slowly chugging away til you get that body strengthened. When you graduate and start running further, by degrees each week, you will get stronger, have more lung power, and then that enables you to begin to start quickening up.
