So that's W6R2 done. An uneventful run today. Wasn't the most comfortable run but after a weekend of nightshifts and eating what I shouldn't of ate at times when I shouldn't of eaten, I'm not surprised.
Sun is shining bright and it's warm but at least there's a light breeze today to help cool me down.
So on to run 3 on Wednesday. 25 minutes....
No more little walkies in between runs now. Looking forward to it as I do like the longer runs without stopping.
It's hard enough to get this engine going as it is, so the stopping and starting was not one of my delights but I'm enjoying it all the same.
Enjoy your Bank Holiday everyone and happy running to you.x
Brilliant!! Starting that second 10 was just like starting the first 10. Funny how we needed those walking breaks just a few weeks ago and now our minds and legs just want to get rid of them. Who'd have thought it?
Kudos for getting out there in this heat. Proper trooper you are hon!! xx
It is amazing isn't it. But my thinking is that it takes alot to restart. So by taking those walking breaks and having to start again is building up whatever it is building up within in so when we do the longer runs, we actually find it easier because we're used to being in gear one.
Just like a car I guess. Gear one is more powerful than gear 3. That's my thinking anyway without all the fancy terminology. Lol
I'm a summer baby so I do love the sunshine and heat. I definitely feel more motivated on beautiful days like this rather than during the dull winter days. I love it.
I’m doing w6r3 on Tuesday - will let u know how I get on, not looking forward to it in a honesty, struggled this week. I pray it’s cooler or at least a breeze. May delay till Weds if not - PMA! Xx
Deep breath... you can do this. W6r3 is usually easier than the 2 runs before a lot of people have said. I'll be doing that run on Wednesday too and can't wait to get going.
