So what I’m learning is that there is definitely a gremlin who gets up with me in the morning and tells me lots of reasons why I shouldn’t run. I think it’s the same one that persuades me that I need to eat that packet of biscuits. Thankfully as soon as I step out the door I can run away from him!!
Week 3 run 1 in the bag. Feeling great. Might even be able to resist the biscuits 😁

You kicked that gremlin’s ass. Well done what a great way to start the day....
Well done! I can't wait for it to get lighter in the morning. Getting up at 5 in the dark doesn't appeal although I have no problem running in the dark evenings 🤔
It suited me to run in the dark because I felt so self conscious. I’m really looking forward to doing the longer runs in the early morning spring sunlight. Planning to drive to the river and be running with my dog by April. Really believing I can do it now 😊
Well done on beating the gremlin! I’m really not a morning person At All, let alone a morning runner, so am in awe at those of you who can get out of bed and go running!
Me, I’m looking forward to lighter evenings so it’s not pitch dark by the time I go out at 8/8.30...
I always always flick them off my shoulder, literally do the ‘flick’ thing.......usually at a corner/ bend. I dump them and run on. I am taking no passengers unless they are forum friends in need of support who are always welcome......in that situation we never run alone.
