Week 8 now complete.

I squashed the runs in a bit this week (every 36 hours instead of 48) and although I managed, I really noticed the difference regarding recovery. Back to every 48 hours for the final week.

My BMI is now below 24, so happy with that although that may change after my holiday.

I have reversed my route around the village and noticed a big difference in the hills, inclines seem much steeper (or maybe its my imagination!) A bit like running into the wind all the way round.

Now looking forward to the last week and my preparations for the Parkrun. Got my barcode printed out and laminated (!).

That graduation couch has really filled up this week, hope there is room for me!

(I've got "the runs" in the keywords! Hee Hee very childish.)

That's a good pace old git! You should get 5k done in the 30 minutes or pretty d**m close to it!I think I saw them polishing your badge....it's very shiny 😊😊

Thanks Pots, I didn't have much left at the end of today's run so will have to be careful next week not to get carried away in the excitement.

Well done...great pace....I did something similar but only had 8-13 hours between runs due to me wanting to graduate before going on holiday....only a few runs left .... excellent!!!! :-)

Thanks Adidas, I really noticed the difference between 36 and 48 hours. Same reason for me, (hopefully) graduating on Saturday, flying out Monday morning. Can't wait!

Thanks Aliboo, beginning to think about what I might do after graduating, maybe start preparing for a 10 k in autumn - who would have thought that!
