Well blumming eck what happened to Spring? First run after graduating and yes it was cold and gales...lucky me got back before the horizontal hailstones! Have decided to repeat some of the runs to build up speed and then add a longer run in the week.I did look at the C25K+ but I don't think I am there yet...
Spring where art thou....?: Well blumming eck... - Couch to 5K
Spring where art thou....?
I think I must have missed your graduation post, but congratulations with that big achievement. It's amazing to have some so far in only a few short months, eh?!
Many find it useful to spend a couple of weeks just consolidating things before adding more challenges on top. Prove to yourself that it's now a genuine routine that you enjoy, and then when you feel ready do C25K+ or whatever else takes your fancy. Maybe even sign up for a race?
Lots of people spend a couple of weeks redoing the w9 runs to consolidate their achievement before going on to work on speed and distance. I agree with you, c25k+ can be a wee bit daunting straight after graduating. Give yourself time to build up the strength in your running legs before tackling anything too far or to quick. You don't want to be joining the crowd on the injury couch.
Congrats. Too true - bit grim the weather this week.
good plan, but they are all very good and worth a go...yes the weather is horrific!!!
Ha ha Pot, your tag is a bit " unfortunate " to say the least Ha ha
Yes the weather has been really shoite this weekend , but spring is just around the corner ( she says turning the heating up a notch )
Good times ahead ! xxx
