W5R3 completed and I got up early to do it! Beautiful morning, (it was Saturday) one section 'off road' and got really muddy! first 3 mins actually hardest but settled into it but have to say was happy to hear Laura say it was the last 2 mins. Touch wood , fingers crossed all body parts are holding out, and running shoes look run in! Week 6 next, its been very helpful to hear of other peoples experiences, so a big thank you!

Well done. I did mine Friday night. I usually run on Saturday mornings but didn't want to ruin my Friday night worrying about it :). I agree the first bit was the worst - Laura did desert me part way through, I got her back though. My legs felt like jelly when I stopped running but I felt great. I have W6 R1 tonight. I find it rewarding to read about other peoples achievements and write about my own small ones. It feels like you are not out there alone. Good luck with week 6.

Thanks for the encouragement, I hope it's going well for you. For a variety of reasons to dull to explain my kit is in one place and I am in another so running tomorrow it will have to be!

Well done - I have been doing the programme on the treadmill at the gym as everytime I have tried on the road, my knee has gone and its taken me weeks to get back and never got past week 3. But I did the same as you - I completed run 3 of week 6 on Saturday morning and the road. I was nervous about being on the road, but I settled into it. It had some slight uphill sections and crossed a dual carriageway but I finished it and felt on Cloud 9. Never run that long before. Last 2 minutes I really had to dig deep and lost my breathing a bit. Hope my story helps.

Brilliant! This is such a big run for any runner so you should feel very proud. Week 6 can be a wee bit challenging for some people after the excitement of w5r3 so take it slowly and listen to Laura and you'll be absolutely fine.
