Started on 1/18/15. Did 4 runs and developed knee injury. Pes anserine bursitis. So ready to get started again. Got new shoes and watch some videos on jogging techniques. Determined to look like I did when I first met my husband. Knee is improving but trying to wait at least another week before starting. Lots of stretching in the meantime.

Bursitis is painful - had it in knee and elbow on different occasions. Elbow had to be lanced twice before it went, but it has not reoccurred, so don't let it put you off of running.

That's the spirit! Well done on not letting it put you off, and for listening to your body and resting up. Good luck xx

Patience is difficult but so important if you want to keep running.

When you restart, just take it easy and slow. Don't worry about pace to start off with. I would be tempted to start off with the one minute running, one minute walking sessions again (week 1?).

Good luck...I have something wrong with my knee, happened right at the end on W9 and haven't managed to run since. I think I'll probably re-start with week 4 WHEN I find out what's happened...missing it like crazy! I'm rather jealous!

I was wondering what had happened to you JenJan, sorry you're on the couch, but that's at least you haven't given up after all your triumphs xx
