I am really pleased that I completed week 3 early yesterday morning but am also really concerned about stepping up to 5 minutes from 3 minutes tomorrow. It seems like quite a jump!
I have read other posts about the transition from week 3 to 4 and the comments are quite diverse so maybe it is all in my head but I have to confess I am not looking forwards to it.

Hi Herbie, Please don't worry, you have got this far and the programme is designed for you to do it. Each week your fitness levels are increasing - trust me you are ready and you can do this! Lock the 'stop' demons away and the very best of luck! Let us all know how you get on
Well done on completing w3. i was the same when completing c25k, I was constantly anxious about the next run or week. I think it's natural, going into the unknown All I kept telling myself was to believe in the programe and believe in myself. Give it a go and you'll more than likely find, like I did, that you manage it fine and that it's those dreaded head gremlins just messing with you at the end of the day, if you find you do struggle on a particular run then there's no harm in redoing a previous run until you can manage it. Good luck and I'm sure you'll be fine
I agree with all the above posts, slow and steady and ENJOY it. If you can't manage it then you have a couple of rest days and try again. It is a very personal program and everyone journeys through it at their own pace. Good luck with next week.
I've just done 2nd Wk 4 run. It's fine - honest! Mind over matter. If you go slowly, it's just a question of plodding on until Laura tells you to stop. QED!
I am on my last week 3 run this week and am hesitant too. But still looking forward to trying. I can't remember the last time I was this enthusiastic about exercise and believe me I have done every exercise going over the last 20 odd years!!
Relax folks, everything will be fine. Calm down, collect yourselves. Right, now. Slow, steady jogging is all that's needed. It's not for long either. Just a short run/walk and it's over.
Please don't tell anyone but sometimes I used to sneak an extra minute into the week I was on just so the next week wasn't so daunting. Just convincing myself it was doable. It is doable without the sneaky extra minute - it's just your mind telling you otherwise. Show it who's boss. Good luck with that.
