So just made it to week 9, yes! But I've got a major pain under my left ribs and it's slightly swollen, it's not helpful with the running and I'm so close to graduating. Tried to rest it this week think I've pulled, twisted something but it's no better. Anyone else had this problem?

Nope, that sounds a bit unusual. Have you had anything like it before? If you're not wearing anything that might be rubbing/digging in, I'd chat to your gp.
I had that, it would catch me in the rib rather like a spasm that you'd get in the back. I didn't go to gp and it got better after a few weeks, I have not had a recurrence.
I would suggest you get it checked over though, don't want to risk any other nastys. I was pretty confident it was a muscular problem that I had and that's why I gave it time.
Good luck with the running, it's amazing init!!!!
