Just completed week six and I can't believe I managed to run for 25 minutes! I really could not have done that six weeks ago I found a nice park to run in and it was a beautiful frosty bright morning, lots of deer watching me as I slowly made my way round. Really glad I did this. Hope I can keep it up!
Feeling GOOD!: Just completed week six and I can... - Couch to 5K
Feeling GOOD!
Sounds lovely. I would have enjoyed the morning today if I hadn't been so flipping knackered!
Just how I felt! Seriously tempted to try my first Parkrun tomorrow...
Sounds lovely - cold but lovely!! Well done and good luck with week 7. You can keep it up - i found setting myself goals helped so i entered races and that definitely kept me running.
You've completed the monstrous week 6! Good for you! It was a glorious morning wasn't it? I nearly chickened out, it's going to be a lot warmer tomorrow, but I'm glad I went now. It's possibly the best thing about running, and totally unexpected - how much I enjoy all sorts of weather now, especially rain!
I nearly decided to repeat the first day of week six, but I'm glad I went for it! Yes, as long as you've got the right clothes on it doesn't matter what the weather does! x
Well done! Sounds like you had a lovely run
I'm just one run behind you. And I'm amazed too. I barely made it to the end of w1r1 and I'm set up to do the 25 minute run you have just finished. When I was 15 minutes into the last 20 minute run I really wanted to stop. Then I thought - i'm not hurting and I'm breathing OK, why do I need to stop? It's all in the mind.
Of course you can keep it up. If you can do 25 minutes you can do 28 and then 30. Good luck.
I agree rmnsuk, if nothing has dropped off and youre still breathing , keep going ! xxx
Sounds brilliant Andrea, Well done ! Youre doing great, keep going ! xxx
