It's taken me 3 months and I'm nowhere near 5k, but feeling really pleased with myself as this morning I completed my final run on a beautiful sunny morning by the river. I intend to keep it up and work towards doing a Park Run in a couple of months.
Good luck to everyone starting out...if I can do it, anyone can!

Brilliant Carol Congratulations on Graduating ππππ
I'm so pleased for you, after all you have been through you have stepped it up and come out on top, fitter than ever.
That 5k will be yours, just keep up with the 30 min runs nice and gently and you will get there. It took me ages to get to 5k outside (I did 5k on the treadmill shortly after graduating in 38 mins) but it doesn't matter.
You can always walk a bit on the Parkrun, there are no rules about only running, but they can be hilly, and muddy!
Enjoy your Celebrations and you look great in your shiny new badge.πxx
Well done you will be doing 5k before you know it. I graduated about 3 weeks ago and am now doing slightly more than 5k. Congratulations just keep going ππΌββοΈ
