That sounds very good! The rest day to recover is when your body does its best work!
Keep running slowly, taking things gently, listen to Laura, do what she says and you'll get through just fine. The key is to keep things slow. Your body will thank you
I noticed the same thing - the recovery time gets better. The running obviously gets better as well, but it wasn't as noticeable as the recovery. Good work!
Sounds like a good start It is surprising how quickly the body starts to get accustomed to any new exercise. As everyone says... keep to the plan, listen to Laura and take your rest days and you'll be fine.
Stick to the programme and you will amaze yourself! Sorry – I’m a recent graduate and a little evangelical. Don’t worry if it doesn’t feel too easy. I’m sure you wouldn’t improve your fitness so quickly if it was. The point is you have completed week 1. The steps are carefully worked out so week 2 is doable too and on it goes! Keep it slow and steady. Happy running!
