Week 1 done
I had a few aches and pains on week one and some knee soreness on week 2 and 3 I think but it soon passed and I'm feeling great on week 7 now. Congrats on completing week one, some say it's the hardest week
Well done for starting this program. Slow is good and don’t forget the rest days, that’s when the muscles repair.
I found the pain relief gel brilliant for my aching muscle and joints.
Good luck
Congratulations for starting, make sure you always do the warmup and cool down walks. Have a look at the strength and flex forum for ideas about gentle stretches to help ease off those aches. Merry Christmas and a happy healthy running new year
Welcome to the forum and well done

Enjoy your journey.
I've started week #9, am in my 60s and find that the aching kicks in after every run, but after the day of rest I'm usually ready for the next run.
Thanks for all your advise. A few stretches, warm bath and a game of tennis today and legs feel much better, ready for week 2 starting tomorrow. Merry Xmas all 👍
