Hi I have nearly completed the Couch to 5k app from the NHS which has been brilliant at getting me back into running after a long break. I am now loking for an app to take me to 10k and wonder if anyone has any suggestions. I need the encouragement of an app to keep me going.

Couch to 10k
Hi Katie, there is an app series on the NHS site: nhs.uk/Tools/Pages/Couch-to...
Maybe this is helpful.
Thank you that's exactly what I need!
Great that it serves your needs. I've just come back from my W2R1 - and I must say at the moment I doubt whether I will really be able to graduate one day... That was quite hard compared to last week. Any advice or consolation for a new beginner? Have a lovely day
Yes just keep going. The first couple of weeks are the hardest. I hadn't run for a long time and had hip problems so needed to build up slowly. It's been fab. Go slow. Keep going. If you're struggling then slow the pace. If I had longer than a few days between runs I would repeat a week or just a couple of runs before I moved on. And just keep thinking of how great you will feel when you've got there. Let me know how you get on. Beautiful day for a run here but we have no snow! X
Hi Katie, thank you so much for your reply which I so encouraging. Today it's -4°C, sunny and just a few patches of snow here and there. I do feel better now and will stick to your advice and keep you in the loop about the tiniest progress I'm making, thank you for cheering me up! X
There are quite a few B210K programs out there if i remember right Andy_D did start looking the bluefin one ,not sure all have apps or podcasts like C25K though ...
There are loads of plans out there, you just have to find the one that suits you. I'm using My Asics, lots of us here are, there is one by Bupa, and someone here kindly put a load in Dropbox for anyone to download... sorry I'm such a technophobe, I think it's among the pinned posts...
