To all of you running tomorrow have a fantastic run and to absolutely everyone hope you all enjoy the festivities! And if anyone doesn't celebrate Christmas hope you just have a great day anyway
Finished week 8 today on a high so that'll do me nicely Didn't take Laura with me so it was just me and my stopwatch and my hubby driving off into the distance to take photos (Not of me I might add but the other wildlife!) The weather was kind, and the views fantastic. Sun shining through the clouds onto the mountains in the distance and clear skies up above. The air was cool but not cold and the wind was more gentle today. It was nice to find my own natural pace and stick to it and lovely to hear the calls of the curlews. I ran so much better today and for the first time ever I actually felt like a runner and I seemed to cover a little more ground in the 30 mins (ok, I know it's supposed to be 28 but I couldn't resist). Checked out my run on MapMyRun and I have achieved a PB today (including 5 mins warm up and less than 4 mins warm down walks) of 5.79k in 39 minutes (give or take a second or few). So that's a pace of 6:44 my best ever. In the great scheme of things I don't know if that's good, bad or indifferent but it really doesn't matter. It was good for me And on the plus side my hubby had a good photography session as the squirrels came out to play
Happy Christmas everyone

And Happy Christmas to you and yours, Hilly. What a lovely positive report on your last week 8 run! That's a really good pace. Better than I did yesterday! So you'll be graduating before the New Year, or just after? Do tell, so we can all celebrate with you!
