Well thanks to take overtime back started my Christmas holiday today,so after trip to shop to get supplies for hubby to make banoffee pie(requested by our eldest for our Christmas Eve feast) collecting train tickets for youngest post new year trip to his grandparents (working so missing out on our Christmas visit)

I decided as the sun was shining a run was in order,so off I went to the Olympic Park 2.5 miles run in the gorgeous early afternoon sun.

Just have to decide if next run with hubby is Christmas Eve or Christmas Day.....may have to do both with all the goodies we shall be eating over the next few days.

Thanks for all the likes and comments during this 1st full year of running, you are a great bunch of people.

Merry Christmas and happy running

Sharon 😘

Running in the sun - I'm jealous. I can't wait for our summer.

And I'm impressed that you have your hubby so well trained to make puddings! :-)

He is more a savoury cook this is the one pud he can do

I didn't realise you were in the UK. When you mentioned the sun I thought you were in Australia or somewhere like that. Let's hope the storm passes over, or is not too ferocious!

Well done Sharon! Great run and great post. Sounds like an excellent idea to me to run on both Christmas Eve and Day. You don't have to go far, but I bet you'd be pleased with yourself if you managed it! :)

That's the spirit Shannie! 😊

Brilliant post and photos ! It's great running with the Sun on your face summer or Winter. I always look out for a decent weather forecast and will delay run a bit if I can find some sun.

Tough decision 2 runs. Perhaps suggest to hubby it's either Run or do the washing up. See what response is ?

Have a good Christmas !
