OK no significant problems till week 9 then Oh my knees. Such a difference between 25 minutes run and 30!. What is really annoying, my husband..a year older than me has not followed it and decided he would go for a run with me to see what the fuss is about. from scratch he managed 30 minutes no problem. OK he plays badminton twice a week..whereas I have been struggling the last 11 weeks to get to graduation !

Anyway I DID IT YAY!

Congratulations, it is a great feeling isn't it. Go to the graduates page to get your badge, very well deserved.

Just worked it out it may be 30minutes but my route is 3.5 kilometres I do still deserve the badge?

Oh yes, it is 30 minute running that is important. Many on here have run for 30, but not done the 5k.

You are just as entitled to the badge as anyone. Now, start planning....what next...? 10k...

Yep. Badge is for running the 30 minutes, most of us were a long ways off the 5 k still. It makes for a good next goal. Congratulations! And don't worry about the other half cranking out a quick 5k. We built it up slowly and safely - it's a good foundation to build on.

Congratulations! :D

Well done, congrats on your graduation! You know, your OH may have run 30 mins ONCE, but could he do it 3 times a week? I doubt it. YOU can though, so be very proud and enjoy your moment!

Well done you! I too have a husband like that, but he's very encouraging and (allegedly) lets me set the pace.

I used to go to a yoga class, one night our teacher showed off and demonstrated "the crow" if you don't know it, you balance on your hands with your knees wrapped around your elbows - not a chance for me, but OH said "do you mean like this?" Makes you sick doesn't it. He doesn't swim well though.....

Many congratulations - enjoy your badge!

Well done on your graduation and don't be sick about your husband. You cannot play badmington without running therefore he has been training ever since he started badmington!
