Week 4 run 1

O.k so I made it and even managed a few words with a friend who turned up at the gym I was praying inside that she wouldn't notice me that way I didn't have to try talking as well as running and breathing although running is a bit of an exaggeration more of a gentle jog I feel but I DID IT! But boy do my legs ache also did 10 lengths of the pool as part of my cool down May have been a step too far this week! Bring on run 2

  • Well done, I did mine on Sunday and cannot imagine how you swam as well. Hoping to do W4 run 2 today, wasnt very well yesterday but here goes. Good luck for your next run :)

  • Thanks sunshine01 the best of luck to you for today. Hope you are feeling better. Can I ask did you find it difficult as I found it the most difficult run so far but I think it's my breathing technique or lack of it, I have tried lots of different ways to try and regulate it but nothing seems to work. I must look a dreadful sight when puffing around the streets or in the gym.

  • well done Juski. I have completed W4R1 this evening. I found it easier than Wk3 but i did repeat W3 as i could not push my self out the door! Please keep me posted as you go along- because we at the same stage. : )

  • Thanks scrappydee1 have been aching quite a bit today maybe the swim afterwards wasn't such a good idea feeling better as the hours tick by ready to do it all again tomorrow. Good luck with your next run sounds like you have it sorted
