Running by moonlight

Wasn't supposed to be stupid setting sun. Went for a quick blast round the countryside. Wow is it muddy. Tried to up my cadence as much to stop myself tripping over roots as anything else and keeping my shoes on through the horse ruts. Had a great time. Pressed the wrong button on my garmin for my splits after warm up and each mile.

Loved it though a bit chilly when I finished. Pitch black outside now so looks like I timed it just about right.

Nice -ve splits

11:26 first mile

10:17 second mile

9:10 third mile

1:43 for 0.28 to get me to the 5k

Happy weekend all and hope you have great runs.

Sounds lovely & great splits! Watch you don't run without light of any kind though & come a cropper on those tree routes. Maybe take a head torch with you just in case this time of year x
