Week6 r3 beat me.

I stopped around the 20 minute mark knackered. Bit fed up as it's the first run I have failed on. I have a bit of a cold, and I did do 40 mins of upper body exercises this morning so I'm going to blame it on that and have another go on Friday.

Don't feel failed. I did similar this morning, and cycled into work and came home and did wk6#1 and very much struggled. Not sure I will do a back to back cycle and run /walk for a bit again. I am not ready for a triathalon! ;-)

Keep going - try it again- I guess you know already to keep it slow. But it isn't really part of the program to be wearing yourself out with 40 mins exercise first and then try to run with a cold when you can't get all the oxygen you need into your body!

Don't be hard on yourself and whip out a positive mantra or two.

Thanks airhare. Yeah this week is hard. Mind you my watch said I had done 7k!?! (Something wrong there I think!)

I'll try again. Let me know how you get on on run 3.

Double check your route on mapmyroute or some other to see what you covered (it will give you approximate distance) shouldn't be anything like 7k! And if you did then perhaps you should be thinking of SAS training afterall! I'll still be calling SOS!

That's hardly a failure! 5 mins shy after the exercises AND having a cold. Don't really think you can beat yourself up about that. Good luck for Friday :) And maybe do the upper body exercises after the run? ;)

Aw Meadsey, don't be too hard on yourself. You are a bit under the weather , so perfectly understandable .

Chin up, this too shall pass n'all that :-) xxx
