Week3

Nice feeling ... keep smiling

It's a great feeling, I agree. But if you find Run 2 each week is a bit of a downer, don't be surprised - nearly all my bad runs were Run 2 - then you get out there and make yourself do Run 3 and it's all good again.

June - and since then I've mostly repeated Week 9. I'm not ready to do without Laura yet. But I'm still running three times a week - and I started in April, two months after my 60th birthday. All the rest of my life I have been a runningphobe - I'm the one who would rather miss a bus than run for it. Now I'm hooked. I can't honestly say I enjoy the running itself, but I love the sense of achievement after every run. I particularly remember the warm-down run in Week 4. I had the most stupid grin on my face, and the song on the podcast said it all. And sometimes - just sometimes - in the middle of a run I find myself elated rather than just plodding. Hang in there - it really can change your life...
