Just back from L'Escala, Catalonia, had a lovely run along the promenade. It was already 28C at 8AM, and full sun. It was the first time I have run with other runners, now I know how slow I am lol! I had intended to continue to the marina, but it was grass and gravel along the track, not my favourites, so turned back to the hotel. I had to save some energy too, for swimming - I haven't swum in the sea since 1987, when I was still a head up breast stroke swimmer! I got BaldyBoy in too!
Running in Spain: Just back from L'Escala... - Couch to 5K
Running in Spain
Hey hey Curly, fab stuff. Well done to you, sounds like you had a great time and you swam in the sea too ! That's what we call in the business - a double Brucie Bonus
Yay , Go Curly and BB xxx
Thanks PP, it was hard going but I enjoyed it! One thing though, I expected other runners to acknowledge each other, but not one replied when I said "Hola"...On the subject of BB, don't tell anyone, but he's going to try C25K when we get home in a few weeks and he can do it on the treadmill while he's at the gym...
Well done CG - that looks like a lovely run. I haven't been in the sea for years either- mind you I haven't been near a beach for years either but sounds like you had a ball.
Well done CG! You're doing amazing! That looks like a gorgeous run as well. I'm going to Menorca in a fortnight and will be getting some runs in with any luck
Yes it was gorgeous! Running by the sea is so nice! I shall be on my way home to UK in 5 weeks via another seaside town in Spain, already got my route mapped out....it's a bit over 5K, but quite a bit of it is downhill I think. Must up my distance a little over the next week to make sure I'm ready for it, then I shall get the chance to do some Parkruns when I get home. So looking forward to that!
