No problems. Even managed to get my Mum to do week 2 at the same time so we could do the warm up and cool down together! :)

Well done! I like the fact that you took your mum along. It's so lovely having someone to run with. Will she carry on with the programme too? :)

Yea, it really helps me to get the kit on and start which for me is the most challenging bit!

She does intend to, although she's taking it at her own pace - week 2 twice more, then week 3, then "we'll see". But she's definitely improving her fitness, so I'm proud of her :)

Tell her to keep it up. I am 55 and have one run to graduation. Never would have thought myself capable of it, yet here I am. Best advice for a more mature lady (!) is; keep the pace slow and steady, stretch out after every run and don't ignore any aches and pains. I wish you both every success xx
