Well that was an interesting experience! I enjoyed the run- kind of... it took some mental effort to focus on anything but how I was feeling and the fact I was moving my legs continually for 5 long minutes but as my body was ok clearly I need to strengthen my mind - any advice welcome?
Somehow I managed to hit pause on my phone with my thumb as i ran the 2nd run tonight - no idea how as had iTunes open! So by the time i re-hit play I actually ended up running 6 minutes not 5 😃.
During the last run I felt ok ( it's always the middle run that tests me mentally?!) until the lovely Jo Whileytold me I was half way through and only 2 5 minutes to go - sometimes Id prefer she wouldn't do that as get a false sense of comfort that it's nearly complete (anyone else feel like that?) then beat myself up as I'm supposed to be enjoying it not enduring it - when I felt my lace was undone on my trainer.... dilemma! Do I stop fix it and carry on or ignore it... i chose the latter and even ended up doing my brisk walk in the same fashion.... that's committment! 🙋🎉.
