RICE is nice

Happy to say that I went for a bit of a jog this morning and my hamstring was okay. Sun was shining, lots of morning dew and a little fresh to start. Took Rico as my pacer although he spent most of his time lagging behind eating brambles. 6.84k in 52 mins including warm up and warm down but I wasn't bothered about speed or distance just whether my hamstring was going to give me any trouble. It didn't I think the RICE helped and not pushing it as well.

Definitely an easy run. It was interesting to see the stats when I got back. Average moving pace 7.41mins/km but my fastest pace was 3.01 mins/km (must have been the steep downhill) but I think that's the fastest I have ever been.

Hope to be back to pushing PBs next week ;-)

Have a great weekend

Better news there GF. Take it steady until you're confident you're fully better

The slow jogs with no plan, route or idea are relaxing aren't they. I have one later on this morning

Have you found the joys of a foam roller yet? They hurt like a b**ger when you're using it but oh my, the instant relief from tight muscles.....so worth the pain! :) speedy recovery!
