On holiday in Alvor, Portugal. Did my week 9 first run the morning before flying out, went ok amazed I could run for 30 mins just under the 5 k so plenty of room for improvement. I'm 54 and hated running / cross country at school, was always one of the last ones to finish and always walked most of the way. But hey I really enjoy doing the C25K and don't like to admit it but becoming addicted.

I have just completed week 9 run 2, set my alarm for 6:30 yesterday but woke to find I had drunk too much Sangria. Failed. But this morning went to plan. It was sun rise here but still found it very hot and hard work. But I did it.

Will probably do my final run on Monday. And I can't believe it I will have done the C25K. This is only my second post. But I read all the post everyday and just want to thank you all for your support and advice.

Through advice off fellow C25K I got my self a Garmin watch as a early qualifying Prezzie !

Could kick myself because I have left it on charge at home. Doooooohhh!

Thanks again John (Drakeybar).

I think I've been to Alvor. Do they have a lovely bridge?

Well done you on taking your running shoes on holiday. That's dedication for you. You made me laugh when you said "I woke to find I had drunk too much Sangria" Ha ha You didn't know before you went to bed then? That'll larn yer!

This running lark is addictive for sure. You can't do anything about it though and just have to surrender to it. That involves the wearing of really bright clothing

Good luck with your final Graduation run!

When I went to bed felt fine, woke with a banging head and a mouth like the bottom of a budgies cage. Ha ha

Couldn't have ran to save my life.

Hello miss wobble.

The next town on, which is near to Alvor has a lovely bridge, not sure of its name.

I noticed all you people who have graduated have Graduate in a bubble next to your name, how do you acquire that?

Talking of bright cloths, bought the fluorescent yellow C25K tee/running shirt for when I qualify.

Thanks again for your support.

Don't know about dedication, just thought it would be nice running by the sea.

Thanks

Great news, John and what a place to run your final week of the c25k :) Happy new watch (I treat myself to one as a graduation pressie, too).

You get a virtual badge by applying. If you look to the right of your screen there are lists in blue text. One of them is to claim your Grad. Badge. Click on that and follow the links, when you graduate obviously
