Graduated today and feel fantastic! Didn't hit 5k in the last run of week 9 (it was bloody hot!) But two out of three ain't bad, gonna keep doing 5k to improve my pace a bit first, once I can hit 5k in three runs two weeks running I'll change it to three different runs, one 5k, one speed and one long run (increasing that 10% a fortnight)
I just want to thank the NHS for making this programme, and everyone on here for all their advice and words of encouragement. Will stick around and give advice and words of encouragement to others, paying it on so to speak (and to show off my graduate badge!) And to give some occasional updates or to ask questions,
ooh aah cantona u've every right tobe as CHUFFED as u r
Congratualtions on your achievement. I've 2 runs to do before I graduate. I completed wk9r1 last night.
The 5k in 30 minutes is beyond me at the moment. My final two 30 minute runs are hopefully a doddle and all the hard work to progress to where I am today proves worth it.
Barring a disaster i'll graduate early next week. Catch you in the Graduates Club shortly, the first round on you
