It wasn't easy towards the end but I managed to keep moving.
I kept waiting and waiting to go out in the hopes the evening would cool down. That didnt seem to happen and it was a hot one but glad I got through it.
on to run 2

Well done. It's harder when it hot. Not long now
Brilliant! 25 minute runs - it's all getting real now you are a runner!
Well done! Could not run do it if too hot. i was due to do mine this morning, but got spasm in my lower back since yesterday
Yeah me too! I was such a lard ar*e and dragging all that extra weight around really took its toll. I can't think why we continue to do it for so long. We must be barmy. Still, better late than never
Running in the heat is horrible and I'm not very good at it at all. The sun came out yesterday while I was out and it just saps you doesn't it! Grrrr
I like to run later in the evening, say 9.30 ish or 8.30 ish if I have a longer run to do. I wear a bright pink jacket tied round my waist so I can be seen
I was hoping to wait for it to cool down but then I have a problem of when I finish my run and have a shower I feel wide awake and end up going to bed about 12 or 1 which wouldn't be an issue if I didn't have to get up at 5 am to travel to work.
The heat really does seem to make a difference but i figure if I learn to tackle the heat and hills from the start then they will not be a deterrent to any runs in the future. May debate a trial of carrying some water on extreme warm days in future though
I can't stand carrying stuff! It does my head in. I ran 10 miles the other night with no water so it can be done. Not ideal but there we are. I wouldn't do it in heat of course! I wasn't going very fast either, which makes a difference!
Tackle hills by all means but I wouldn't do them in the heat. I'd be doing those early or late in the day
I know what you mean about being wide awake if you run in the evening.
