Please tell me Im not the only one who has put off getting up to run, finally did it, only to come down and find the mp3 has quit, the computor is playing up and the washing machine door is locked with a full load of my sons familys clothes trapped inside , so I didnt run ! and now I feel as if I let myself down. I may never get over this people
TBH I really didnt feel like running today, simply couldnt get my head around it, all i needed was for all my gadgets to quit to convince me it was a bad idea

Oh don't beat yourself up over it grannyjudes , I wouldn't have gone either . Look there's all ways tomorrow have a rest day , go for a walk , you may even feel like a evening run later . Hope all is good later . Take care
Sometimes its just not meant to be. Tomorrow is also a day, as someone once said... (Me I'd have a cup of tea and a biscuit before switching my tech off and back on again.)
Oh god, it doesn't sound like the best start to the day.....never mind the tea, it may call for something stronger! Or is it still a bit early? Actually where I am it's 4.30pm, so you have full permission to have a large glass of wine! Don't best yourself, think how far you have already come, and as the others have said you may feel like a run later today or if not tomorrow. Best wishes to you and hope the gadgets sort themselves out soon.
I used to open my stuck washer door with a credit card, it pops the lock! My washer accepted all major credit cards! I learned that trick on a home maintainance course
You can run without music GJ. I often do now as I like running without stuff to faff with. It's actually very liberating. Give it a whirl when you're not so stressed
No need to sabotage the gadgets just because you don't fancy a run to day Grannyjudes! Never feel guilty - you know you'll go out next time and love it.
Oh GJ that sounds like me most mornings! I do always manage to get out there eventually, but my word I don't half faff around before I get out the door. My bowels have to be well and truly evacuated before I can contemplate the run (I saw that horror story about trying to squat behind a bush with a HiViz vest on!), then I worry about my hydration, then sunblock, then... oh I need another wee, and on this goes, sometimes for an hour! If my washing machine or mp3 did the same, I'd probably say sod-it!
As you've told me enough times, don't be hard on yourself, and you will go out next time feeling refreshed and motivated... honest! x
treemouse I like to get up and just go, even been without cleaning teeth or combing hair before now ( I know yuck !!! ) cant be doing with interruptions
the damn day didnt end there, hubby had promised to drive to Perranporth where I was half thinking maybe I could run on the beach, even packed a bag to make it doable, 2 mile down the road the car conked out !!!
Well they say that bad luck comes in threes! Hopefully you're done with the break-downs now, you've had more than enough! I hope that you get your day at Perranporth and that you are catastrophe-free for the foreseeable future
