"There's no fool like an old fool!" ... that's what the saying says and I seem to have proved it. Took part in a running club handicap race last Thursday and did my leg in, not sure yet how bad it is and will get confirmation at a second physio session tomorrow. Not sure which hurt most, damaging my leg or landing up having to hobble my way round half of the cross-country course and come last. So it's a balancing act, leg damage v/s ego damage. My only consolation (PHEW!!) is that it has got me out of a training night on the local athletics track with a favourite trainer who just posted what you can see in the photo. Have a great week folks, will report in later in the week.
