Oh dear - IC for me!

Oh dear - IC for me!

"There's no fool like an old fool!" ... that's what the saying says and I seem to have proved it. Took part in a running club handicap race last Thursday and did my leg in, not sure yet how bad it is and will get confirmation at a second physio session tomorrow. Not sure which hurt most, damaging my leg or landing up having to hobble my way round half of the cross-country course and come last. So it's a balancing act, leg damage v/s ego damage. My only consolation (PHEW!!) is that it has got me out of a training night on the local athletics track with a favourite trainer who just posted what you can see in the photo. Have a great week folks, will report in later in the week.

  • Ouch poor you hope r and r gets you back soon. And I do like the poster

  • Get well soon & whatever you have done ice packs will help (unless its frostbite:p)

  • Keep us posted please David! That ego will recover.. you just take care of you and the leg.. and follow your Physio's instructions too :) x

  • Thx - ego recovery helped by being a marshall for club run on Sunday! Walking for miles going to / from athletics at Olympic Park yesterday was not quite what physio recommended, but unbelievable the times those athletes manage ...

  • Get well soon.

  • Thx

  • Hope you have a quick recovery. xx
