Apparently I have good recovery rate Yea! I still think it's cos I could be putting more effort in to the running bit . I am aware that my feet hardly leave the ground so asked John the leader how I could fix that. He said we will look at technique in future weeks but at moment all we need to concentrate on is putting one foot in front of the other and enjoying ourselves. He's so encouraging and I don't feel any pressure. Lovely group of ladies and so friendly. Who would have thought it - me in a running group. So if you've been dithering about joining one please give it a go. If you don't enjoy you don't need to go back but hopefully you'll strike lucky like me.

I was running last night and barely lifted my feet at times. Nothing wrong with it I don't think as I managed to keep going. I think it's easier to show a clean pair of heels when you're much younger, that's what I keep telling myself any now

Happy running!

Know what you mean miss wobble 99.9% of time feet are just hovering over ground but very very occasionally I feel ' lighter ' and they seem to be I bit higher for few steps. I am not that worried about changing but when leader was talking about looking at techniques I thought I would mention it but he had already noticed. I just like the fact that he is stressing that the main thing is to enjoy running

I am trying to improve my form by thinking about what my knees are doing. Trying to lift my knees just a little bit higher than I normally do -- and consciously driving my knee forward (the feet follow) . It seems to be improving my stride just a little

Thanks bazza I have tried to lift knees but legs just seem to go all over the place but ended up looking like I was doing some kind of weird dance . I think I need someone to actually show me what to do so hopefully John the leader might be able to give me tips that will make a difference

Yes I'm the same. You want validation don't you. Someone to show you what to do so you're doing it right. I expect like most things, the proper way is the easiest. When he tells you will you tell me? Ta!
