W9R3. I actually did it!

Feeling on top of the world right now! On W1R1 I managed just 2.5 of the 8,1 min running sessions, now I am really running for a full 30 min - and not feeling half as terrible after as I did on those early runs! I even added an extra min today to reach my goal of 4.5km.

This forum has been a constant source of support, reassurance and encouragment both when I have posted and when I have read the posts of others. For that I thank you all. I could not have done this without you.

I plan several consolidation runs (taking Michael because I'll miss him too much if we part suddenly!) Then to decide if I want to go further or faster or stay doing what I'm doing. I've fallen in love with running and definitely won't be stopping. I'd never have dreamed that could happen 😊

Well done, it's amazing what you achieved. I think this is the best training programme I've ever seen. Good luck with your next running plans.

I think the buzz you get at the end of each session is addictive! Good luck with the rest of the programme. I look forward to seeing your "I did it" post 😊

Congratulations! I’m not far behind you and like you plan to stick with Michael for now. Truth be told I’m a little daunted by the prospect of going it alone as it were. However I’ll take a look at the follow up links and no doubt will formulate a plan. Having a schedule to stick with is helpful for me. Enjoy feeling on top of the world!!

Thank you. That's the feeling I have exactly about Michael. I'm just not sure I'm ready to run without him yet.

πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ that old smoothie seems to be feeding us all the same lines!

I'll just borrow him a few more times. We'll have to be sure to run on opposing days and share him for a bit πŸ˜‚

I don’t care if he is. He can manage all of us I imagine πŸ˜‰

Thank you. Your "slow and steady" was the biggest help on the hardest runs.
