Just completed W5 Run3!

I started C25K on Easter Sunday, and if someone had told me then, that I'd be running non-stop for 20 minutes a month later, I wouldn't have believed them! I've never taken to running before (tried and given up) so this feels a real achievement. You have to trust in the programme and you CAN do it!

Well done. W5R3 is such a huge mental obstacle for most but you did it!!! :D

I would caution you not to underestimate week 6. It looks straight forward but is a test. Slow and steady wins the day.

Good luck

Excellent work! Well done - it's a good feeling isn't it? Revel in it for now but get ready for week 6, which is harder than it might seem xxx

Well done - it's a wonderful feeling when you realise you can do it! Just done Wk6 r1 - back to the run/walk combo. Waiting for an irritating cough and this miserable rain to go away before embarking on r2! Keep it up! We're getting there!

Well done. The 20 minute run is a major turning point in the programme and you start to feel that you've made some real progress. Watch out for week 6 though. The return to intervals, after the euphoria of a 20 minute run, is no soft option and can catch people out. Keep it very slow (even slower than that), very steady, stay calm and this will see you through okay. Good luck with your next run and very best wishes.

Thanks for all your support and advice. I started on the week 6 runs today - and yes the return to interval training felt harder work than I had expected - achy legs or what!
